In 1994 Matt Welsh started LinuxDoc. Easier to use than DocBook, Linuxdoc (as a SGML) is being used more at small and medium sized projects.
Actually the Debian distribution of Linux has got a linuxdoc-tools package included. This enables people writing a LinuxDoc document to do it without causing errors.
With linuxdoc.org we´d like to retain the open source idea and enable the community to get information and help around LinuxDoc.
Everbody can use linuxdoc.org with the Open Source Q&A system "OSQA". Please feel free to do so too.
We hope you enjoy this project, be a part of it!
