If anyone on the discussion list is the maintainer of a LDP mirror
site, there is a problem that just surfaced this past weekend wrt
using an ftp-based mirroring program such as 'mirror' in conjunction
with the main site (metalab.unc.edu).

I'll be posting a fix and an alert msg to the mirror owners later today.
