% sgmltools -b ld2db
The ld2db backend of SGMLtools drives a DSSSL stylesheet that converts
Linuxdoc to Docbook.

I'd massage the HTML into something XML compliant (sgmlnorm might do the job),
and then apply an XSL transformation stylesheet.
