Jason Petrie,
Writing, Proofreading/Review, Markup, Anything I have used computers since my childhood and have used Linux for the last 2 years. I see a great need to contribute to enhance the available documentation. I have an interest in writing -especailly technical documentation- and I would like to use this opportunity to pursue a possible interest in computer journalism or as a professional writer. I have studied at a university level for the last 2 years and have achieved a very proficient writiing style which is easy to read, concise and without many errors. I'm bilingual in both French and English. If some docs need to be ported over to English from French I could easily do so. Conversly, if a document needs to be translated in French I may be able to help. Note that my written French is not quite as strong. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like me to immediatly commence work on a project.

Writing, Proofreading/Review, Programming/Tools, Anything I started my Information Technology (IT) career as a technical writer and soon moved on to other responsibilities that my manager felt were more important. I've never returned to the writing field, but I do miss it. My primary strenghts are UN*X, Relational Databases, and "Trying to Do Things Right" rather than "Trying to Get Things Done Right Now". TDTR is harder than TGTDRN because managers tend to prefer the latter for its short-term benefits.
